Age restrictions

We welcome people of all ages to Rewind and want to share the fun with all the family but anyone aged 17 or under must be accompanied by a guardian who is 21 or over.

Most of our events have age restrictions, in which case you will need to provide proof of age on entry. Please refer to the individual event page for the age restrictions of that specific event. When purchasing alcohol, if you appear to be under the age of 25, you may be asked for proof of age. We reserve the right to refuse to serve you alcohol if you do not have valid photographic ID.
Acceptable forms of ID to prove you are over 18 include:
• A photo driving licence
• A passport
• A proof of age card, such as the PASS card from the national Proof of Age Standards Scheme.

Our security teams can also accept the YOTI app

Info for local residents

Dreamland is committed to supporting the local community and working closely with our neighbours.

We have a huge number of events planned for 2025 which we hope you will come and enjoy.

Throughout the year we will be sharing essential updates with you, our local residents, both on this page and by post so you have all the information you need about any potential impact that the events may have.

We are working in close partnership with Thanet District Council, Kent County Council and the Emergency Services to ensure our park activity complies with all Licences and Permissions.

We are always happy to talk to you, our neighbours and value your feedback about our programme and our communications.

Dreamland is anchored in the local community, providing office, workshop and exhibition space for charitable organisations such as People Dem Collective, who work with Black, Brown and Diaspora communities; Resort Studios, a contemporary arts organisation supporting practitioners at different levels of their careers. Dreamland also works with charities such as Dreamland Heritage Trust, Kent Association for the Blind, Margate Women’s Institute, The BeYou Project part of the charity, Porchlight, UK Creative Festival, Creative Foundation, Arts Education Exchange and RISE UP. CLEAN UP.

If you have any concerns or queries, please get in touch by:

Can we camp at Dreamland?

We’re afraid we don’t have a camping area at Dreamland. However, there are a number of hotels in the area and we are only a five minute walk from Margate train station.

Valuables

We know it's nice to bring all your home comforts, phones, tablets, house keys - but are they really all necessary?

Keep valuables to a minimum and please don't leave them unattended during the event. bags larger than A4 ( 21 x 29.7) size are not permitted inside the venue. We advise all event goers to bring as little with them as possible when attending events, unless there are specific medical reasons which mean you need to bring a larger bag. If this is the case, please email the team at customerservices@dreamland.co.uk prior to the event you are attending for further advice.

Will there be a confiscation box at your 2025 outdoor events?

The security team may confiscate items on entry. These items will then be disposed of by the venue. There will be no opportunity to collect confiscated items post event in 2024.

Is there parking at Dreamland?

The Arlington Car Park is a multi storey car park just around the corner from Dreamland on All Saints Avenue, CT9 5QH. Arlington Car Park is operated and managed by SMART parking. The car parks cost £10 for all day parking.

Are wheelchairs available?

No, but guests are welcome to bring their own.

Money On Site

Dreamland Margate is completely cashless. All you need to bring is your card/phone, tap and party!

Dress Sense

Make sure you bring enough clothes and footwear for all weathers. Even on sunny days, the evenings can be cold. Watch out for sunburn (even on a cloudy day!) and if it is a rainy weekend, be sure to bring some waterproofs to make sure you stay warm and dry.

Pace Yourself

With alcohol or anything else that you consume over the weekend (that goes for Churros too!). Try to avoid getting too intoxicated in unfamiliar situations. You can lose control or make risky decisions. Alcohol and other drugs can impair your judgement.
